What is the Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Outcomes Research Network (OFAR)?
OFAR is a secure, web-based databank for patient-reported outcomes (PRO) on foot and ankle disorders and treatments. By bringing together patient outcomes from foot and ankle orthopaedic surgeons nationwide, OFAR will expand the breadth, quality, and availability of real world foot and ankle data.
What can surgeons do with OFAR?
- Benchmark their outcomes data against other participating research centers in the United States
- Measure the effectiveness of foot and ankle treatments
- Contribute to prospective research to understand the difference among treatments
